Karl started of his journey as a Dj in 1996, it all basically started of as a hobby and was only when Karl got offered a fill in slot on Kiss 105.3fm in 1998 that he started to take Dj’ing seriously.

Karl went on to host 2 shows weekly on Kiss Fm for a year and a half before moving onto a new station which evolved when half the Dj’s from Kiss left to form the now legendary Nova 94.7fm.
Karl stayed with Nova for 6 years where it became the most popular dance music station in Dublin before it shut down in June 2005.

In 2001 he set up a specialist record shop in Temple Bar catering for all of Dublin’s top djs called Future Sounds which he ran for 2 and a half years.
It was the first shop in Ireland to host a top 5 dance chart on national radio 2FM called the Future Cut chart.

After shutting up shop in 2003, Karl then got into production and currently has numerous releases out on Monad Music which he now runs with co-label manager, Tony Pugh.

2007 was a big year for Karl, not only did he team up with Tony to form the production duo Grooveboy, but also joined Play Fm Dublin which has firmly established itself as the root of underground dance music in Dublin.

Mainly known for his progressive house sound in the early days, Karl now plays a blend of deep / tech house & techno which allows him to fit in to any club or residency he takes onboard.

Karl has held residencies at some of Dublin’s top clubs such as Club Mono, Switch, The Pod, The Crypt, Mischief, Traffic, Sunday Loungin @ Viva, Metro @ Sub Lounge, The Italian Factory, Alibi @ Ulysses and Dig Deep @ The Morgan.
